Home Infusion News - Emerging Trends - Home Health - Patients are seeking solutions to meet their personal needs. This is why Naven Health is committed to exceptional infusion care, everywhere they are.

The way Americans receive healthcare treatment has changed drastically over the last few years, mainly due to the pandemic. No longer is a one-size-fits-all approach suitable as many are calling for improved healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. Patients continue to expect better and more adaptable care, allowing healthcare entities to offer diverse solutions and grow in this evolving landscape. With this, here are some emerging trends that we are seeing in home health.

Emerging Trends in Home Health

1. Telehealth

Telehealth, or virtual care, has become a valuable tool, particularly in light of the pandemic. Telehealth allows patients to connect with their providers via a video meeting on their computer, tablet, or phone, in the comfort of their own home. Telehealth is a convenient and cost-effective way for providers to expand their care to patients dealing with common illnesses, medicine refills, or even mental health and chronic diseases.

2. Remote Patient Monitoring

Remote patient monitoring (RPM) uses wearable devices that connect to mobile apps to collect real-time data on a patient’s vital signs. This allows providers to monitor the patient’s conditions remotely and can allow early detection of any issues. RPM not only improves patient outcomes but may also reduce healthcare costs by preventing complications and hospital admissions.

3. Collaborative Patient-Centered Care

Patient-centered care encourages collaboration among the patient and all their healthcare providers. It allows the patient to be a part of the decision-making process which leads to better patient satisfaction and healthier outcomes. This approach also promotes trust and better communication between the patients and their providers. There is a rising focus on patient-centered care and interprofessional collaboration within healthcare systems.

4. Healthcare Delivered

Just like your favorite meal or home essentials, many are looking for their healthcare to be delivered to their home. Patients can receive one-on-one attention and care that is tailored to their specific needs in an environment that they are most comfortable. Whether you are learning to manage a chronic disease, transitioning home from a long hospital stay, or in rehabilitation stages, at home care can help restore your health, well-being, and independence in your home.

Why Home Health is So Important

Disconnected provider relationships have sadly become normal. This is resulting in patients becoming tired of the traditional, cookie-cutter care that fails to meet their personal needs, schedules, and budgets. Patients are now leveraging other solutions to find more personalized approaches to healthcare delivery.

This is why Naven Health is committed to caring for others by delivering highly specialized and truly exceptional infusion care, everywhere they are.
