Recognizing Infusion Nurses Who Deliver Care at Home

Back to All Naven Health News

This year, IV Nurse Day has expanded into IV Nurse Week, a full week dedicated to recognizing the essential role infusion nurses play in patient care.

From January 26–30, the Infusion Nurses Society is leading a celebration with the theme “Igniting Health and Inspiring Hope.” At Naven Health, we’re proud to honor the nurses who make care at home possible.

The role of infusion nurses in care at home

Infusion nurses deliver complex therapies to patients outside of traditional clinical settings, often in their homes. This requires specialized training, clinical expertise, and the ability to coordinate care across teams and geographies.

Beyond the clinical, infusion nurses also provide something harder to measure: connection. They build relationships with patients and families, offering reassurance during what can be a challenging time.

Our commitment to exceptional care

At Naven Health, our nurses bring clinical expertise to patients across the country, supporting complex and specialty therapies in the home setting. Their work expands access to care and helps patients receive treatment where they’re most comfortable.

Thank you

To infusion nurses everywhere, and especially to our team at Naven Health, thank you for the skill, dedication, and compassion you bring to your work every day.

Patient populations are small, families are geographically dispersed, and the burden of repeated travel to a trial site can stretch families thin over the course of a multi-year study. When a child also faces physical and cognitive challenges, the demands […]
