We’d like you, the reader, to get to know our leadership team a little bit better to meet the people behind Naven!
Meet Tim Kingas
Tim serves as the Vice President of Operations for Naven Health, overseeing all field nursing and operations. Tim joins Naven Health from Specialty Pharmacy Nursing Network (SPNN) where he started in June of 2013. When Tim first started, he was 1 of 5 team members who ran the country. With the SPNN growth, Tim eventually became the VP of Clinical Services and oversaw all aspects of Clinical Services and Operations including all partner programs, nursing, and staff.
Tim has over 20 years of experience within the nursing realm, with the last 17 years working in the Specialty Infusion field. Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and started his career at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, working in the PICU. He then moved into a role as an infusion nurse for one of the largest Specialty Pharmacies in the country, managing high-tech infusions daily. Tim quickly moved up to a Nursing Supervisor role in which he managed the nursing staff for several different branches and states.
With his extensive background and love for nursing, Tim finds himself at the heart of Naven Health. Tim believes Naven Health stands out from the competition with the quality care and dedication to our specialty that our nurses provide daily to each and every patient. He also believes Naven has the best in class reporting and communication that our customers have come to expect and appreciate.
When asked what people can expect when working with or receiving care from Naven Health, Tim responded that from a customer perspective, you can expect to receive the best care for your patients, as well as communication. From a patient perspective, you can rest assured that our nurses will come prepared, on time, knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and ready to provide the highest quality of care.
Describing his most memorable day working for Naven Health, Tim says, “This may sound a little cheesy, but each day has honestly been better than the one before. The nurse in me loves every day I get to hear from a team member or field nurse on how we are making a difference in the lives of each patient we have the opportunity to serve.”
